GADAMER'S PHILOSOPHICAL HERMENEUTICS ON SCENE: THE HERMENEUTICAL PLAY IN THE ART OF FRAMES

The following proposal is an attempt to bring the issue of the event of being in cinematic works of art to the center of the philosophical debate. With ontological singularities, the text will seek, based on a philosophical dialogue with Gadamer, to introduce points that allow us to think about the hermeneutic issue based on the experience with cinematic works of art. To this end, we carried out a brief exercise of assimilation and dialogue with philosophical hermeneutics based on the elements of
play, celebration and symbol, represented by Gadamer in the works Actuality of Beauty (1985) and Truth and Method (1997). In the end, we can observe that thinking about cinema based on these elements can give us ways to understand and interpret the truths of art through the festive and symbolic play of art as an increase in being.
