BREVES CONSIDERAÇÕES SOBRE A INFLUÊNCIA DA TEORIA MARXISTA PARA O FEMINISMO E O ECOFEMINISMO

Abstract

This work aimed to demonstrate the influence of Marxist theory for the construction of feminism and, consequently, for ecofeminism, given the interconnection between the referred themes. Thus, the text was divided into three parts, where each briefly explores a theme. In the first part, the approach was restricted to the origin, history and importance of feminism. In the second part, the focus was on establishing the influence of Marxist theory for the construction and sedimentation of feminism. In the third and last part, the theme developed was about ecofeminism, especially about its origin related to feminism and the influences of Marxist theory for its construction. Thus, to support the research, bibliographical research was used, such as books, articles, dissertations, publications on the subject, in particular, in the contributions of some publications by the philosopher, professor and feminist Silvia Federici. Therefore, the works of the mentioned author and the others used for the construction of the text allowed an understanding of the importance of feminism for the analysis of gender oppression and the inequalities suffered by women due to the advance of capitalism, as well as the relevant and evident influence of Marxist theory in the pursuit of this confrontation, even with the gaps mentioned in the text. Thus, with the advancement of feminist theory and due to its plurality of guidelines, ecofeminism emerged in this context, which is concerned with the exploitation of nature and also has, in its theoretical bases, the influence of Marxist theory
