This article presents the version of Gilbert Simondon about aesthetic thinking and art. The
philosopher of the technique develops arguments that put aesthetic thinking as an analogical way of
recovering the magical world as a primitive unit from which both, technical and religious thought are
individuated. Aspects related to the inventive process and the individualizing individuation of
transindividuation are also brought to complement Simondean perspective on the very close
relationship that exist between the technical object and the object of art. Finally, some considerations
about the categories of element, individual and set of art objects are made.
