The study is based on the relationship between Literature and Philosophy and as we enter into the dialogue between these we present a confluence in which Literature is not only an illustrative means to represent some philosophical current, but also a but relate the discourse of both so that it is possible to think of human existence. And for this, we dedicate ourselves to the study of the work The metamorphosis (2018), by Franz Kafka. The research, of bibliographic character that is based on the reflections of Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht (2010) and Martin Heidegger (2010, 2012), With the analysis it was possible to verify that the literary text is a space that allows the perception between the dialogue of the understanding of the environment, experienced by man, in the face of/before world events.
